Relates to routine business between H Maccaughley and Casper Voght in the arrangement of cargoes sent from Charleston to Hamburg; with instructions relating to bills of exchange and insurance of cargoes; terms for charter of ships; state of merchant houses; prices current at Charleston. The correspondence relates in particular to the disputed account of H Maccaughley and Casper Voght, and the arbitration of Sir Francis Baring
