Fine unaddressed pre-sale FDC document. Belgium definately made a virtue of the european habit of encouraging philatelic pre-sales of new issues, and these 'Pre-Sale Folders' (or 'Prospectuses') certainly exemplify the trend. Each folder contains supporting info about the issue, along with clear illustrations of the various pre-sale postmarks available at various centres around Belgium in the two or three days prior to the issue's official release in Brussels. Collectors could also - as with these examples - affix the real stamps, bought similarly 'in advance', over or beside the illustration of the stamp image in the folder and receive one or more of the regional pre-sale franks, or even - on the proper day - the 'first day of issue' mark. These folders were discontinued at the end of 1998. Their collection is an integral part of any modern Belgium collection; or the stamps can just be soaked off for guaranteed crisp, clear first or pre-first day of issue use for a thematic collection...
